WOUND CARE

We provide a comprehensive wound management program specializing in the treatment and management of pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, vascular ulcers, burns, and lesions. These wounds are often complex and can lead to pain, disfigurement, scarring, and social withdraw if not managed properly.

We provide leading evidence-based therapies including negative pressure wound therapy, compression therapy, pressure relieving/reduction therapy, pain management, and bedside debridement to ensure faster healing times. Residents are seen weekly by a Wound Care Certified advanced clinician in addition to our 24 hour care. Designated family members are informed and educated about their loved ones treatments and progress. This continuity gives our residents and family members a sense of security knowing they will be seen weekly, on the same day, by the same clinician.

Our clinicians frequently attend wound care education seminars including the yearly national Symposium on Advanced Wound Care to ensure we are providing the latest evidence-based wound care services.
